Patrick Saunders helps connect CV families with resources such as food, clothing, counseling, and academic support.

I have worked in education for about eight years in a variety of roles, and I have been part of the Chenango Valley district for the past three.

In addition to my coordinator role, I also help coach varsity football (three years) and coach JV basketball (six years) here at CV.

Mr. Saunders works closely with principals, social workers, guidance counselors, teachers, and families to connect you with supports at school and in the community, including:

• Food assistance: CV Warrior Food Center and local partners

• Clothing assistance: CV Warrior Clothing Closet

• Mental health support: school social workers and community providers

• Physical/medical needs: help finding clinics and appointments

• Academic support: tutoring and study skills resources

• Housing assistance: referrals to local agencies

• Attendance support: barriers problem-solving and plans

• Family engagement: events, resources, and more
