What documents are required to enroll a new student in the Chenango Valley School District?
- Student's Original Birth Certificate
- Two Proofs of Residency
- Guardian Photo Identification
- Immunization Records
- Custody Papers (if applicable)
What documents are acceptable proofs of residency?
- Lease (needs to be notarized)
- Recent Utility Bill (heat, electric, phone, cable, water, garbage)
- Mortgage Papers
- Valid Motor Vehicle Registration
- Valid Driver's License
Can I make an appointment to register my child?
- Absolutely! Please call 607-762-6821. With notice, we can also accommodate appointments outside of our regular hours, if it is necessary for you.
What to expect at the appointment?
- During your appointment, our staff will review your documents, answer questions, and help you complete any remaining forms.
What do I do if I move to another address within the Chenango Valley School District?
- If your family has moved, please let us know your new address.
- You do not need to fill out a new registration form. Please complete the Change of Address Form instead.
- You’ll need to show two proofs of your new address. You can use the same types of documents listed above.
