Chenango Bridge Elementary Students Enjoy Wellness Day

Chenango Bridge Elementary School students in grades 3–5 enjoyed a fun and engaging Wellness Day on April 2. Throughout the day, students rotated through a variety of activities designed to promote healthy habits, creativity, and positive choices.

Students participated in interactive sessions that encouraged movement, teamwork, and mindfulness. Activities provided opportunities for students to learn new skills, try something different, and focus on both physical and emotional well-being.

Community partners helped make the day possible by leading activities and sharing their expertise. Participating organizations included the Chenango Valley Elementary PTA, Rock on Café, Binghamton University, BOCES CTE, the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, Dance Intentions, and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County.

Chenango Bridge Elementary staff also supported activities throughout the day. Therapy Dogs 607 also visited, providing staff with an opportunity to focus on their own wellness.

Wellness Day is part of Chenango Valley’s districtwide efforts to support student well-being across all grade levels, with each school hosting its own Wellness Day during the school year.
