Transportation Requests & Changes

Whether you're planning a new pickup or dealing with a last-minute change, here’s how to update your child’s transportation schedule.

Permanent Changes: Submit a Request Form 5 Days in Advance

Submit a Transportation Request/Change Form (PDF) at least five school days before the change takes effect. You can also pick up the form at your child’s school or at the Transportation Office.

Temporary Changes

Call your child’s school by 3:00 PM the school day before the change is needed. For Monday changes, please call by the Friday before.

Same-Day Emergencies

Call your child’s school as early as possible, no later than 10:30 AM on full days or 9:30 AM on half days. After that time, a designated adult must pick up your child from school or their regular bus stop.

Ride Ready: Smart, Safe & On Time

Before the Bus Arrives >
  • Be at your stop at least five minutes early so you're not rushed.
  • Stay back from the road and keep an eye on your surroundings.
  • Wait until the bus comes to a full stop and the driver gives the signal to board.
Getting On the Bus >
  • Hop on one at a time and hold the handrail just in case.
  • Find your seat quickly and sit facing forward.
  • Keep all your things tucked in your backpack. No skateboards, speakers, or oversized items.
  • If it can’t fit on your lap or under the seat, it needs to stay home.
While You're Riding >
  • Keep your voice down and your focus forward.
  • Follow any instructions from the driver or monitor. They’re there to help.
  • Don’t hang arms, heads, or anything else out the windows.
  • Keep the aisle clear and stay seated until the bus stops completely.
Getting Off Safely >
  • Take big steps away from the bus after getting off so the driver can see you.
  • If you need to cross the street, make sure you see the driver and wait for their signal.
  • Look left, right, and left again before you step into the road.
  • If you drop something, leave it and tell the driver or monitor right away.

Bus Route Updates

Transportation routing information for the 2025–2026 school year will be shared via email and through the Stopfinder app. You will no longer receive a paper transportation card in the mail.

During the first few weeks of school, bus routes may be adjusted as we process transportation requests. We appreciate your patience during this time. For the most up-to-date schedule information, please check the Stopfinder app regularly.
